GERACC.net: a new look for the familiar ERP solution for nursing homes - CMS

The third generation of this total-solution for nursing homes has been developed using Microsoft technology. CMS opted for the Visual Studio Team Foundation development  environment, a MS SQL server 2008 R2 back-end on a .NET Framework with SOA-technology.

“Meanwhile we have more than 1.000 operational installations in Belgium”, says Patrick Vrydaghs, managing director of CMS. “It was an absolute priority to preserve the recognition of the GERACC-suite for our users.  At the same time we used the rewrite to optimize our solution : more functionalities, and even more user-friendly,…. During the development we took these important elements into account. Today we can say that we have found  the right balance and that we are most satisfied with the result.”.

The first trial project with GERACC.net was started up in May 2010. The feedback is very  positive.  In the nearby future all GERACC clients will be foreseen of the upgrade to the new platform.

With this investment CMS has laid the base for the product evolution for the next 10 years.  As so GERACC-clients are assured of a state of the art product with guaranteed continuity.

The GERACC-suite comprises  

• GERACC administration and invoicing (electronic RIZIV invoicing included
• GERNIS care and medication file (Home’link pharmacy) 
•  GERANT mobile care registration (via PDA, PC-tablet, nurse call system, ...)
• NISPLAN timeschedule management (link with time-registration, salary calculation systems,…)
• CMSNET content management system (extranet, intranet,…)
